You don’t need to know how to pose
Hi, I’m Ian. You don’t need modelling experience, a particular body shape or a ready-made sense of confidence to book. We discuss your style, outfits and comfort beforehand. I explain poses clearly, guide small adjustments to posture, hands and expression, and work at your pace with breaks whenever needed.
Your comfort comes first
- You decide what to wear. There is no expectation to undress or include nudity.
- You can decline any pose or stop at any time.
- Images are delivered privately and are only used publicly with your separate, explicit permission. Sharing is never a condition of booking.
- We agree a suitable private location and changing space before you book.
- Please let me know about any access requirements so we can plan around them.

Your Boudoir Collection
Prices are for one adult, photographed at your home or an agreed private location. Venue hire and any additional travel are quoted and agreed before booking. Hair and makeup, outfits, prints and albums are not included. Additional images are £20 each, or you can upgrade your collection. The Complete collection includes every photograph selected for editing, not every frame taken; the image count varies.
Boudoir with Friends
A relaxed experience for 3–4 friends aged 18+, taking turns for individual sessions, great for supporting each other.
Minimum group booking £585.
Friends only watch with your permission; private changing space agreed beforehand. One agreed private location; venue hire and additional travel quoted separately.
Hair/makeup, outfits, prints and albums not included. Extra images £20 each. If numbers change, contact me to discuss options and any revised quote before proceeding.

A Beautiful Album, Just for You
A personal keepsake of your session, designed around the photographs that make you feel most like yourself. A discreet fabric cover keeps the outside simple while your chosen images tell the story inside.
Add an album to your collection when you book, or order after receiving your finished gallery. Choose your favourites privately, review the layout, and approve the design before printing. Already have your images? Send me your gallery name and preferred size.

- An additional spread normally holds 2–4 further photographs, depending on layout.
- Images above your album's allowance need agreed extra spreads.
- Albums are optional extras; your session collection and its digital-download allowance stay as booked. Photographs selected for printing in an album do not add digital downloads.
- Final specification and any delivery charge are confirmed in a written quote before ordering.

Preparing for Your Session
- Choose comfortable, well-fitting outfits.
- Lingerie is optional – shirts, robes and knitwear work beautifully too.
- Try your outfits on beforehand.
- Arrive in loose clothing to reduce temporary marks.
- Style your hair and makeup as you prefer (not included).
- Bring meaningful jewellery or a veil if you’d like.
- Share your preferences and boundaries with me.
- There’s no need to change your body or apologise for nerves.
Boudoir FAQs
Do I need modelling experience?
No. I guide every pose, so you never need to know what to do.
Do I have to wear lingerie or be nude?
No. Neither lingerie nor nudity is required – you decide what to wear. But we recommend something comfortable abd that you feel good in.
Who will photograph me?
Your photographer is Ian Petrie. A pre-session chat is available so we can get to know each other first.
Will my photos be shared publicly?
Not without your separate, explicit permission.
Where does the session take place?
At your home or an agreed private venue such as a studio. Any venue hire or travel is quoted first.
Can a friend come with me?
Yes, by prior arrangement once we’ve checked the location is suitable.
Is there an age requirement?
Yes. Boudoir sessions are for adults aged 18 and over only.
How are the images edited?
Editing refines light and colour for a polished finish. We can discuss your retouching preferences so you remain recognisably you.
When will I receive my images?
The delivery timeframe is typically within 3 weeks.
What isn’t included?
Hair, makeup, outfits, prints and albums are not included as standard. Just ask if you’d like print or album options.
